PIX515E - Performance problem?

Hi!

I have a PIX515E that reboots constantly (2 or 3 times a day) and i think it is because it's reaching its packet processing performance. Is this normal? How do i monitor this problem?

Thanks nad best regards,

JP

Re: PIX515E - Performance problem?

Configure a syslog server.

Note that will decrease the performance on the PIX but will definitly help to figure out the problem.

Example:

logging on

# Enables logging globaly

logging host inside x.x.x.x

# Sends all debug messages to a syslog server

logging trap warn

# Sends syslog at warning level

Logging doc:

Syslog deamon:

Check also your duplex and interface speed setting this causes the most performance problemes.
