PIX515E VPN Client Connections Limit

Hello,

How many VPN Client connetions does PIX 515E with encryption card can handle simultaneously ?

The PIX515E Datasheet says 2000 VPN connections but is this all VPN tunnels (including VPN Clients) or only site-to-site VPN tunnels ?

My local reseller have said it supports only 250 VPN Client connections but I think he's wrong.

The 2000 limit is made up of any combination of LAN-to-LAN or VPN client connections, it doesn't matter. Actually the 2000 is not a hard limit, it's a suggested limit based on testing and an "average" traffic level over each tunnel, and will be affected depending on how busy your tunnels are. If you're going to be pushing a ton of traffic over each tunnel then I'd stay under the 2000 limit just to be safe.
