pptp fixed ip per user

Hello,

I am trying to establish a vpdn between a windows XP and a cisco router. Is easy for me do it with dynamic ip but is imposible fix an ip per user without a radius server.

For explample,

i want set ip 192.168.254.1 for user jon and set ip 192.168.254.2 for user peter.

Somebody know a solution?

thank you in advance.

Re: pptp fixed ip per user

Hello,

One possible solution could be for you to create multiple VPDN groups and assign a single address IP pool to each group. You can then assign these groups to the users that require static IP.

e.g

ip local pool jonpool 192.168.254.1

ip local pool peterpool 192.168.254.2

vpdn group pptp-jon client configuration address local jonpool

vpdn group pptp-peter client configuration address local peterpool

Regards

Pradeep
