PPTP vpn ports

I knew that Cisco IPSEC IP port are IP protocol 50 (for ESP) and UDP/500 (for ISAKMP) and if doing NAT-T then it uses UDP/4500 and AH then it uses IP protocol 51.My big question is what is the port involved on Microsoft PPTP connection back to Cisco PIX VPN.

PPTP uses two ports, TCP/1723 and GRE (IP protocol 47)

I test on my PIX using LAN simulation on VPN connection and it all work but during the real implementation where my client using dial-up connection were unable to connect it back and it just popup the message remote peer is not responding.Will it be my ISP side is blocking the ports and I'm sure my config is correct.

Hi!

PPTP uses the following ports , you need to open these ports on the PIX for PPTP to work:

TCP 1723 and GRE 1723

hi thks for your advise.

I tested on a simulation basis and hook it up online on my lab and the VPN PPTP just work fine.

But not on my customer site.
