Print Server in my remote access VPN

HI!

i have to install a remote access vpn with a VPN 3005 in the central office and vpn clients in PCs in remote branches (with one or two PC`s).The problem is that one branch has a print server (HP Jetdirect) that has to be accessed from the central site through its IP address.

I was thinking of installing a Cisco 806 in the remote site, but my question is if configuring the Cisco Easy VPN as network extension, the tunnel is permanent so any host host at any time can print in the remote site? Or the tunnel is initiated by outgoing traffic from the remote site?

Could you suggest me the solution that fits better to this situation?

Thanks in advence,

Nuria

Re: Print Server in my remote access VPN

I seem to remember reading that the tunnel is built dynamically which may not work in your case.
