First, you may wish to move this thread to the Security>Intrusion Prevention Systems/IDS community which handles questions on Cisco's IPS appliances and modules.
Second, the issue may be hadware related. The first test would be to remove the module from the chassis for ~20 minutes and then firmly reseat it in the chassis. If this does not correct the issue, it would be best to open a service request with TAC so additional testing can be performed.
