Problem with SDM and old routers

I cannot launch SDM (installed on PC) with c2610 router (16m flash, 48M RAM and Advanced security IOS, the SDM shows me that the router is unsupported.

I know that SDM should support old routers, so is it a problem of equipment or smthg else?

Think you in advance

I believe the issue is whether the code you are running on the 2610 supports SDM. If it is older code it probably does not have support for SDM. If you want to use SDM to control the 2610 you may need to upgrade to more recent code.

Re: Problem with SDM and old routers

I'm running "C2600-ADVSECURITYK9-M" version 12.3(5a) and SDM support Cisco 2610XM - 12.2(11)T6 or later, my router is not an "XM" may be this is the ptoblem?

SDM doesn't support 2610. it supports opnly 2610XM routers.
