Problems on installing VPN Client 3.5.1 rel-k9 on IBM ThinkPad`s Windows XP

Hi members,

Does anyone experience problems on installing VPN Client 3.5.1 rel-k9

on Windows XP, specifically on IBM ThinkPad X Series ?

If anyone has similar symptoms as below, please kindly reply, as we got

a lot of problem`s reports on installing VPN Client above IBM ThinkPad notebook.

Case 1. Have to re-install the whole Windows XP after failure of installing VPN Client. Machine is IBM ThinkPad.

Case 2. Windows 2000 becomes un-stable after installing VPN Client 3.5.1 rel-k9. Sometimes the machine (IBM ThinkPad) get rebooted.

Please share if you have the same problems and if you have a fix, I would like to know it.

PS: I am aware that the latest release of VPN Client is 3.5.1 E rel-k9 , however I haven`t had a chance to try it on the same notebook which got several problems on installing 3.5.1 Rel-k9.
