Problems Sending Print Jobs Through a PIX

One of our vendors is attempting to send print jobs through the PIX to one of our HP4000 printers (which is using a JetDirect card - IP only protocol used). The first series of reports prints fine, but when the computer on the other end sends the second series, the HP stops printing.

I allow full IP access between the printer and the computer. Does this sound like a PIX problem or something with HP?

at first sounds like a HP issue. Can the PC ping the HP IP of the printer..? I am assuming so if its printing? Should be a TCP port open for that printer, see if the PC can telnet to that port and open a connection - this will tell us that you have a L3 connection at least. This would rule out the PIX. The next thing I would try is to have another PC try to print a simple web page there and see if that works.
