This problem has occured on 4 different laptops of our mobile users when they're out in the field. The Cisco VPN client "breaks" and in-turn "breaks" the PAL dial-up remote access client. The client was working before, it just inexplicably breaks. Uninstlalling PAL & the Cisco VPN client s/w doesn't resolve the issue. In each case we've had to completely re-image the laptops. All are Dell laptop users on XP Pro (SP2) platform. This is so frustrating!

May I ask what version of vpn client are you using and also what version of PAL ... you might be having a compatibility issue here .. !!!

PAL client 4.30, VPN client 3.6.3 (OS is XP Pro, SP2)
