Query on PIX 525 version 6.2(2)

Hi,

I have upgraded the PIX 525 from version 5.3(2) to version 6.2(2). The upgrade was successfull but I have noticed that the command

isakmp identity hostname was no longer in the config in 6.2(2). Correct me if I am wrong, I do not think the command is needed as we are not doing any ipsec tunnelling. Another thing is, the cryptochecksum is all zeroes after the upgrade too. I have to do a wr m for the cryptochecsum to have a value. Is it because of the change I made to the hostname after the upgrade?

Thanks.

The isakmp identity hostname is the default in 6.2(2) and therefore will not show up in the config. The command is not needed when not doing IPSEC tunneling. The cryptochecksum is not changed because of the hostname change.
