Query on pix 525 version 6.2(2)

Hi,

I have upgraded the PIX 525 from version 5.3(2) to version 6.2(2). The upgrade was successfull but I have noticed that the command

isakmp identity hostname was no longer in the config in 6.2(2). Correct me if I am wrong, I do not think the command is needed as we are not doing any ipsec tunnelling. Another thing is, the cryptochecksum is all zeroes after the upgrade too. I have to do a wr m for the cryptochecsum to have a value. Is it because of the change I made to the hostname after the upgrade?

Thanks.

If you are not using IPSec, you don't have to worry about the isakmp identity command. In case you are interested; if you don't find the command, IP address is the default identity method for ISAKMP.
