Query regarding connection from Server to Cisco VPN Client.

Hi,

Consider a case where a Cisco VPN Client forms an IPSec VPN tunnel with a Cisco VPN Concentrator (Using a Cisco ACS Server for AAA authentication). Here the Remote user (Lets say User_A) with the VPN Client will dial to Internet using a modem and form a VPN tunnel with the VPN Concentrator. The concept here is that the User_A will get a static IP address for the VPN Adaptor from the Cisco AAA ACS Server.

I do understand that the client will be able to connect to the servers behind the VPN Concentrator.

Now the question is that if the server (Behind the VPN Concentrator) can connect to the VPN client through Radmin. If "yes" , then please tell me how.

The connectivity is as follows :

Cisco VPN Client over the Internet - Internet - VPN Concentrator - Server.

Regards,

Prakash S

With the VPN client running, another address will be assigned to the Client from the address pool. Radmin will try and connect to the remote PC using the PC's actual address (one assigned by the ISP). Thus, to allow radmin to connect to the client, you will need to enable split tunneling.

Another thing. A firewall or firewall application might not let radmin work since it might pervieve it to be an attack.
