Query Settings: Having a general name?

In query settings, specifically Application Control - Tied to Parent and Child Name, the query will literally give the file extension and name (AcroRead32.exe). I want it to simply give the application's brand name (Adobe Acrobat Reader). Does anyone know a way to either get the query to auto change it or if you can set up a file set or something to match the .exe file to an application name?

Also, does anyone know where I can find the list of "variables"...like @process or @netservice
