Hey Folks,
I have a VAC installed in my PIX 515's and when I run the "show crypto interface" I get the following response:
Encryption hardware device : IRE2141 with 0KB, HW:1.0, CGXROM:1.9, FW:6.5
The documentation shows in their example a response of:
Encryption hardware device : IRE2141 with 2048KB, HW:1.0, CGXROM:1.9, FW:6.5
What does the 2048KB value represent? Onboard RAM or RAM used by the system?
Thanks,
-Joshua

This is a known issue with the 515's only, and is purely cosmetic. It appears after a "reload" of the PIX, but if you then power cycle it, it'll show back up as 2048KB.
