I would like to use a vpn 3002 client in "one armed" - or if you like "on a stick" - mode. That means I cannot use it as a gateway so I have to use only one of its interfaces for both tunneled and untunneled traffic. The PIX firewall is not able to act in this mode - what about the VPN 3002 Client?
Would it be possible to use a 1710 Security Access Router as a VPN Client in "one armed" mode?
If i got you right, what you are trying to do is to encrypt the traffic and push it out the same interface to the gateway router. To the best of my knowledge the VPN concentrator is capable of being deployed in such as setup. The VPN 3002 does not support this functionality. I'm not sure if routers support ths functionality.
