VPN Client Notifications gives me the folloiwing error:

Initializing the connection...

Secure VPN Connection terminated locally by the Client.

Reason 440: Driver Failure.

Connection terminated on: Feb 14, 2006 13:12:19 Duration:

Not connected.

I'm reading material indicating the incompatibility of Windows XP SP2 and Cisco VPN. The work arounds don't seem to be doing much for me.

Any thoughts?

Hello,

do you have the latest VPN client installed? Do you have a personal firewall, which could be interfering with the client?

Also check in your NIC properties, that all services (deterministic network enhancer) are enabled.
