Do you want to 'recreate' or configure VPN on ASA which was initially configured in PIX?

Recreating vpn traffic meaning you need to configure ASA with VPN.

it's reconfiguring.

if you're upgrading pix v6->v7 then it should do it ok.

on v7 the vpn lan-lan config is the same but for pre-shared key which is now done like this:

tunnel-group PEER_IP type ipsec-l2l

tunnel-group PEER_IP ipsec-attributes

pre-shared-key *
