Redundant path to the Internet

I am looking for recommendations / best practices for the following scenario.

There are two seperate sites and each is connected to the Internet. There also is a Private Frame Relay network connecting the two site together. The goal is to dynamically route traffic via the FR network in the event of a local Internet access problem (ie. local Internet T1 goes does down). This will allow internet access of the other office via the Frame Relay connection.

How is it best to inform the internal frame router that the local default route is now longer the local PIX, but the remote router at the othe office. The PIX is very limited on the dynamic routing......

What if you were to run BGP between the internet router and the Frame Relay router through the firewall?? No need for full routing tables, just send in a default route. Perhaps the internet router would conditionally advertise this default route to the inside network based on some prefixes from the ISP existing in its BGP table.

Configure the Frame Relay router to prefer the default route it recieves via BGP, while it also has a default route it recieves from another routing protocol over the Frame Relay link to use as when the BGP default route goes away.

Just tossing out some ideas.....
