Hardware VPN device can be used for LAN2LAN and remote login IPSec while VPN Client can only do Remote login. Also, having HArdware VPN device will allow multiple users to communicate through the same IPSec tunnel and also allows the same device to form multiple IPSec tunnels to different hubs - While with a VPN Client you can form only a single session at a time to a concentrator.
Should the user need to run the VPN client behind the hardware VPN device? Say like you have VPN server as concentrator and remote device as a router whcih is in clinet mode or network extension mode .do u need to have vpn client behind it?
