Remove flash for more space...

Hello,

Trying to clear the flash permanently so I can upgrade to 7.x. I tried the clear command, but when I do a 'copy tftp flash' to install the new image...it says insufficient space. Running 6.3(4) presently.

Any help or suggestions are greatly welcome. Thanks, Gary

There isn't much you can do with flash in 6.3, but you shouldn't need to for this.

What model of PIX is it? And do you have PDM? ("show version", under the line with PIX version, shows whether you have PDM)

These factors affect whether it's straight "copy tftp: flash:" or an upgrade from monitor mode.
