Reserve an IP address from the VPN pool for a specific Client

Hello all, I have a PIX506 with 6.3.4 and working vpn solution. Clients use the Cisco client to connect to the vpn on the PIX. I have a need to have a specific IP assigned to a particular remote client. Is there a way to set up DHCP lease reservations on the pix? THanks for the help.

Re: Reserve an IP address from the VPN pool for a specific Clien

I do not believe the dhcpd service on the pix's can reserve address. You can setup the pix up as a DHCP relay server to forward the request to a dhcp server with this ability.

If it is just 1 client you could always just static the VPN adapter with an address out of the scope.

Thanks,

Chad
