RIP and 2 ISPs

Hi:

Can I connect a 515 with 3 interfaces like the following:

outside: ISP router with RIP enabled

dmz: another ISP router with RIP enabled and different subnet than the one connected to the outside interface

inside: my inside network

The idea is that the inside network always have an internet connection because there are published servers. I know is not a good idea, but it's a particular scenario.

I need just a "yes" or "no" like answer, and any advice if appropiate. Buying another equipment is out of discussion by now.

Thanks!

Re: RIP and 2 ISPs

If I understand you correctly, you want two paths to two different ISPs. You would then need two default gateways and the Pix only supports one. So the answer would be, no.

In order to multihome you need alot of equipment, including two PIXes.
