Route Down/Up - Filter ?

Hi, i found some information within this forum about the somewhat "usual" problem of Route Down/Up Events.

I also have those messages although no reconfiguring/rebooting takes place.

In one conversation somebody mentioned to tune the heartbeat interval and i managed to do this. Because we dont have appliances but catalyst 6500 IDS Modules i had to locate and edit the template files on the policy manager.

I have no results yet if it works or not but is there a chance to filter the route down/up events ? Or at least for changing the event level from high to medium ?

I dont know where to "grap" those events because they are not within the signatures...

You can add the following tokens to the postofficed.conf template:

RouteUpAlarmLevel 1

RouteDownAlarmLevel 1

This will set both the route up and down alarm levels to 1.
