Well i needed some urgent help regarding this new sup IIG with RSFC(route switch feature card) i bought to do the intervlan routing b/w my 4-5 vlans. I previously or u say currently have a 4500 router to do intervlan routing. I wanted to know that this RSFC has the simillar capability as a router, and same configuration requirement as a router or neth'n different. I have no experience with RSFC. For example i want to do NATing on the RSFC card. i have 4 virtual interfaces. i will make one virtual interface as outside interface and one inside interface. will this how things should work. I cannot find ne configuration samples .....help urgently required

Re: RSFC

you can visit http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/lan/cat5000/rel_5_2/layer3/index.htm.

By the way,you had better to upgade your switch software to 6.1,because it has many useful features.

I am not sure that RSFC can support NAT feature,if it can pls tell me,mail:wukunpeng@china.com.

Re: RSFC

The RSFC is a router, running the good old Cisco IOS image. It therefore has all the features you would normally have on a conventional router, including NAT.
