I'm rolling some new Cisco 877W/K9 routers to multiple branches to connect to the HQ using IPSec with split-tunnelling.
I'm having complaints that after installing the new router, most of the secure pages (i.e. online banking and even Hotmail) are not opening. I've checked with someone and he adviced to change the MTU on the ATM interface, I did it and it worked for a while but it's back again.
Check if your browser has the 128-bit security feature required to connect to most secure sites if not update the browser.Sometimes port 443 might be blocked which is the prot number for secure sites.Try to unblock it.Turn off the firewall like Norton,Zonealarm and see if fixes the problem.
