Seeking information regarding VPN setup

I'm new to VPN and I'd like to know if I can use my existing router and IOS configuration to establish a VPN connection between my router and another at a branch office.

I'm using..

Cisco 2514 Router

IOS Version 11.3(3)T

Does this IOS release support the protocols, etc. I will need to set up VPN connections?

Some 11.3 versions support 56 bit IPSec VPN’s. I believe 11.3.11aT1, 11.3.11bT1 and 11.3.11T to name a few. For better reliability and stability, I'd suggest the 12.1 platform.
