Sensor config deployment with IDS 3.0 and VMS

Using IDS MC we have generated, approved and chosen to deploy a signature tuning change to an IDSM. The change will not deploy. When verifying this via Configuration --> History the correct config filename shows up based on date and time but the status show as "orphaned".

We did this several times and the status always shows orphaned.

The MC can query the sensor and the security monitor is getting live feeds so we know that the PO protocol is working and the sensor config is correct.

Searhing on orphaned status returns no hits.

Make sure that there are no open ssh or telnet sessions to the IDSM. If you run the IDS deployment report, what is the error/message in it?

There were no open sessions and the deployment report said deployment failed.

The word orpahned must be defined in our IDS documentation somewhere that would give me a better idea of what happened.
