Hi,

We have mitel voice over IP phones that are behind the cisco asa firewall. They are connected to the server on the other interface/vlan on the firewall. The problem is that the session is disconnected after every 24 hours and it re-establish the connection again. the log is given below.

Oct 13 12:31:01 10.1.1.200 Oct 13 2008 12:31:01 ASA-Firewall: %ASA-6-302014: Teardown TCP connection 2886115 for LAN1:10.1.1.1/6961 to LAN2:10.2.1.1/6802 duration 24:09:36 bytes 1540000 TCP Reset-O

Any suggestions so that the session would not expire.

Thanks

TCP Reset-O

is the reason of the teardown of this connection. That means, the external server is sending a reset after 24 hours.

I would check the connection timeout on the server.

Regards.
