sharing 2 subinterface on 2 context

Hi All,

context custA

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/0 visible

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/1.2 visible

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/1.120 visible

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/2.20 visible

config-url disk0:/custA.cfg

!

context custB

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/0 visible

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/1.2 visible

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/1.120 visible

allocate-interface GigabitEthernet0/2.21 visible

config-url disk0:/custB.cfg

!

I'm a newbie in Cisco PIX. So kindly please provide as much info. if ever anyone is going to reply :-) (links will do if applicable)

Is it allowed to share 2 subinterfaces w/c belongs to 1 physical interface in two different context?

The second subinterface (GigabitEthernet0/1.120) belongs on the same subnet as they both use the same server on that subnet.

Basically, sharing the interface (GigabitEthernet0/1.2) is ok however whenever i start to share the second one (g0/1.120) after applying the nameif command it starts to fail both the context.

Please help.

Thanks.

Ron
