Should we suggest to use a 515E instead of a 520

Hi,

I am working on a proposal for our customer. We want to advise them to move over to VPN connections instead of dial up. They have about 300 homeworkers and we like to use the VPN software client and terminate it with the PIX. They alread have a PIX 520 at the core can we use that or should we move to a 515E. For Internet connection a 2Mbps link is sufficient. We like also to use tokens, split tunneling and the personal fw option.

Thanks for any comment,

Hans

So long as the 520 has the 16MB flash card so it can run current PIX os's, it should be perfectly adequate. It should have enough cpu horsepower to fully saturate 2mbs with 3DES encryption if need be.
