I use an Unrestricted (UR) license PIX, but I noticed it still has a maximum active interface 95? Is anybody know what's the meaning of "71 active, 95 maximum active"??? If I use remote vpn clients access this PIX, does it still have connection limited, like it will reach the maximum active host and no more connection allowed ???
thank you very much!!!

These are just stats. It means that at the time the command was run you had 71 active hosts. The 95 represents a "high water mark". For example, here are stats from my dspfarm interface on a 7200 voice router:
SPfarm blocking statistic : (spb:42792/ssb:0/fb:0). Number of RESERVED DSPs : 0
14 active calls, 29 max active calls, 42792 total calls
CHT: 1080108 total sec, 25 avg sec, 1408 max sec
This shows I have 14 calls right now and have had as many as 29 since the last counter reset.
HTH Pls rate!

Hi,
It was not a number on how many max connection you can have, but only tells you the current active internal hosts (71), and the maximum no active host ever logged (95).
The unlimited features on Inside hosts, througput and IKE peers remain intact.
Rgds,
AK
