Site to site vpn with pix501

I have two 501 pix firewall's and I am trying to establish vpn between these two sites. I am newbie with these so sorry. I have tried to use PDM with these configurations, but somehow I cannot get vpn tunnel to work. Where did I go wrong?

Re: Site to site vpn with pix501

Hi Mark

Are you sure about the IP address assigned to you on to the outside interface of PIX ?

Since you are forming IPSEC tunnels between 2 different ips which aren't configured on the outside interface i doubt you will be able to have a vpn tunnel between them..

Re: Site to site vpn with pix501

The access-list statements you have used suggest that the same IP range 192.168.1.0/24 is being used on both sides of the vpn. Using the same IP ranges on both sides will cause problems with routing. Check the internal subnet IP addresses on both sides.
