SKIP Procotol and protocol object-groups

Hello there all,

we're trying to migrate from Checkpoint to PIX on 7.0.4. Hit a bit of a snag:

PIX allows the creation of object-groups of various types. I am trying to create a group (called 'test-group'), and this must contain the protocols I need within it. These are ah, esp, and SKIP.

However, only ah and esp are present. Is there some way to create SKIP?

Any help greatly appreciated.

regards,

Gary

I think you have to use the protocol number (57?):

object-group protocol test

protocol-object 57

Gotcha.

Thanks Grant, works well. I should have realised: its a bit like any other protocol/service where the device just lacks a 'common name' for the protocol in question.

Thanks,

Gary
