SNA - IP Security

My business is Service Bureau for financial institutions. I have a Hllapi base application that uses standard TN3270 access to CICS on IBM Host. I want to offer direct IP communications with CICS and get rid of the emulator. Technically I can do this no problem. CICS supports IP through listening ports. My problem is security. Clients would come in through a CIP but I don't know how to limit users to authentication, limit CICS listening ports available, and how I seek out hackers to the client's network and stop them from gaining access to my network. I have firewalls in place but that doesn't stop 2 items from above. One it doesn't stop the client end hacker and 2 it doesn't stop once inside controlling access to CICS listening ports.

Re: SNA - IP Security

I’m guessing here but you might need to use IBM's RACF program as your External Security Manager. This might help http://www-4.ibm.com/software/ts/cics/txppacs/ca8d.html but there are a few more docs on IBM’s site if I remember correct.
