I am using source offsite on a VSS server for source code control inside the PIX firewall. I was told that I need to have TCP ports 8888 and 8890 open. I did open the ports but still no luck. Any ideas?
No, there is no NATing. This is users from the inside are accessing the VSS server in the DMZ. You can ping, tracert and access other apps in the DMZ from the inside. You can even access the VSS app on the VSS server but not the SOS which is on top of the VSS.
Is there any feature in SOS that limits what blocks of ip addresses can connect to it? I don't recall there being such a feature - its been over a year since I have touched SOS. For outside accessbile services residing in the DMZ - is SOS's ports configured similarly?
