I cannot ssh into my asa 5510. All required steps have been taken. Am I missing something? I can asdm and telent into just fine.
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 7.1(2)

Thanks for any help!

Hello,
You following commands are needed for SSH to work on ASA.
ssh 0 0
interface name = interface you would be trying to ssh into.
The RSA keys would have been created already since you are using ASDM.
What is the username and password you are trying to use.
the default username would be "pix" and the password would be your telnet password.
Let me know.
Cheers
Gilbert

Leo,
You can do local authentication on the ASA.
aaa-server LOCAL protocol local
aaa authentication ssh console LOCAL
username test password test123
Rate this post, if it helps.

configure mode commands/options:
http-form Protocol HTTP form-based
kerberos Protocol Kerberos
ldap Protocol LDAP
nt Protocol NT
radius Protocol RADIUS
sdi Protocol SDI
tacacs+ Protocol TACACS+
Something is missed?
