I have Cisco 837 router/firewall installed with Microsoft SBS 2000 running on Dell server with two NICs.
On the router, I have enabled SSL 443/tcp port and created a static entry in the NAT table specifying the external (WAN IP) and an internal IP (IP of the external NIC of the server) and specified a port number.
The access via https works very fast on the internal LAN, but very slow initial connection time from external world. (~ 3-4 minutes)
Anything in the router configuration that can help to speed this up?
It seems the access is slower from PCs running Windows 2000 than PCs running XP Professional.
Thank you
