Does anyone know if Cisco have any plans to introduce a product which supports VPNs over SSL?

Hi,

So far I have not heard anything like that.

I think SSL is using TCP port 443.

But IPSEC VPN using ESP, AH and UDP port 500. Even PPTP use TCP 1723 and protocl GRE.

You can run SSL on top of IPSEC or PPTP, but not another way around.

Many customers running PPTP or IPSEC tunnel , then use HTTPS (SSL) over VPN to do security web browsing or manage VPN 3000 concentrator.

Best Regards,
