Stateful FailOver

Hi,

Is it possible to use a Virtual Interface on the PIX (when 802.1q trunking enabled) for stateful Failover Information?

A serial cable will still be used for regular failover.

Regards,

Naman

Naman,

Nope, sorry. The stateful failover link still needs to be a dedicated physical interface due to the sheer amount of traffic that is sent across this connection in most cases. Hope this helps.
