When a TCP session is established over the PIX firewall, the first IP packet from an inside host causes the generation of a translation slot. The embedded TCP information is then used to create a connection slot in PIX .The command used to troubleshoot translations is xlate. You can see the translation table by using the command show xlate, or you can clear the table with clear xlate.
