static and port redirection

Hi all,

I have a TCP service with a public address A.B.C.D port E.

I'd like for a range of user defined in an access-list ACL-EXTRA, this range to be redirected through

the following ¨private address G.H.I.J port E.

For the other range connected to A.B.C.D port E to be redirected through G.H.I.J port F

How to do it with a PIX ?

Is it feasible?

Regards,

Re: static and port redirection

PIX#access-list permit_out_in permit tcp A.B.C.D mask G.H.I.J mask eq E

PIX#access-group permit_out_in in interface outside

static and route also.

Re: static and port redirection

Hi Jeff,

I don't understand!

Your access-list just permit A.B.C.D to reach G.H.I.J.

don't forget A.B.C.D is the public address for server.

Clients are on the internet.

Where are the clients in your access-list ?

How do you write the static statement ?

Again A.B.C.D must be translated into G.H.I.J port E and port F!

Hi NOC,

Here is a good link to show how it would be done by a PIX. Hopefully this will help you out. -Jeff
