If a static translation is configured, When does this translation go into the XLATE table?
With the following command
static (inside,DMZ) 192.10.1.28 10.7.3.14 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
The only way the translation goes into the XLATE table is if I go to 10.7.3.14 and initiate trafic to the DMZ. Once this is done, the static xlate is created and access from the DMZ to the inside works. however, once the xlate times out or a clear xlate is done , i must go back and try to access the DMZ from the inside server in order for the xlate to work.

Since this is a static translation, it comes into XLATE table either a connection is initiated from the inside to DMZ or from the DMZ to inside.
Thanks

That is what i thought. However, it only works when traffic is initiated from the inside to the DMZ. If traffic is initiated from the DMZ, the log shows no xlate record found for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
