strange dhcp issue in pix 7.0

when pix7.0 act as dhcp server,if it can't set client default gateway,

the command hostname(config)# dhcpd option 3 ip gateway_ip can only use in transparent mode.

and if pix7.0 can only set one gateway,how to do if there are multi subnet in lan?

i wonder dhcp server in pix7.0 can set default gw for client,if it can't ,what will client to do,it must set gw by mannual?

Hello,

If you have a routed network I would suggest telling your clients to use the router as the gateway and it will redirect your clients out the pix with an icmp redirect when needed.
