I'm in the process of designing a new VPN network where the remote users can access the LAN using RDP. My question is can I setup a Cisco router that will allow the remote users direct access to the W2K Terminal Server. Or should I have the remote access going to a Linux gateway that can route the packets to the W2K Terminal server?
Also like to apply a good security measures. Some of the remote users will be using a laptop and others will be using a desktop. Those on the desktop will probably use a cisco router on the remote LAN. What recommendation should my singlelaptop user use?
Thanks
