hi netpros,
this is the sysstatus (top) outpot of our mars20:
12:35am up 2 days, 8:55, 1 user, load average: 2.25, 2.38, 2.20
320 processes: 315 sleeping, 5 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 10.9% user, 24.3% system, 0.0% nice, 64.7% idle
Mem: 2058292K av, 2053016K used, 5276K free, 214192K shrd, 125724K buff
Swap: 1052248K av, 1052248K used, 0K free 910312K cached
the swap space is 100% used most of the time.
is there any way to increase the swap space?
i find it wierd that our mars has 2G ram and only 1G swap.
best regards
juergen

For best performance, it is recommended that the swap space is set to no greater than twice the size of the physical memory on the machine
Cisco EMF Server
Large Installation8GB Swap Space
Standard Installation4GB Swap Space
Cisco EMF Client
2GB Swap Space
Cisco EMF Presentation Server
2GB Swap Space

hi pengke11
thanks for the reply. i know this "old" unix rule, this is why i am wondering that the swap is so small on mars.
do you know a way to increase swap space?
best regards
juergen
