can some please instruct me on if syslog can be set up on a windows2000 server ? if it can be done does it use a built in Windows2000 service or some third party software?
There are a number of software packages available to do this. The one I use is called SL4NT. It is available at www.netal.com. The cost is $75. I have found it to fit all my needs, including email, pager sw calling, filters, etc.
