Does anybody know how to interpret correctly all debug information on routers and PIXes for IPSec connectivity?
Thank you!

hi,
debug statements are the most powerful for trobleshooting . you have a lot of debug statements for different purposes. after debugging is on, see the appropiate commands. you will get messages regarding that application. from the information you can gather a lot of information.. please mention which debug statement you want to use. reply

If you go to this: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/12supdoc/12sems/index.htm
they posted how to interpret (decode) debug/log messages for IOS 12.0. I didn't find yet anything for IPSec! I got for example, different messages debugging "cry ips sa" on a PIX if I enter a wrong preshared key between that PIX and another one! Is there a place where one can jump quickly and solve setup/connectivity problems or it will take a year or two until you'll learn from experience?
Thank you!
