System image file is "Unknown, monitor mode tftp booted image" on PIX515E

Hiya,

just completed an upgrade on a 515E-UR to 7.4 from 6.3.

Interestingly, I see the message:

"System image file is "Unknown, monitor mode tftp booted image"

when I issue a sh ver.

I'm not worried unduly- the new commands seem to work correctly. The only thing odd about my PIX is: I've only 64Mb of RAM instead of the suggested 128 needed for UR, but thats in hand.

Anyone seen this?

Did you set the boot system flash:/image-name.bin?

I have the same issue, but i never thought enough about it, Is it a problem?

Hi Vayusa,

Not really, just a wee bit disturbing.

Oddly, in the past 24 hours, it has now reverted to

"flash:/image.bin" of its own accord. I dont really know why.

Gary
