Telnet connection

I have a problem to make a telnet on my PIX525 with 7.2 version. The windows is opened but the prompt don't appair in it.

Few questions;

What terminal client are you using?

Can you connect to other devices with this same client?

Are you on the same segment as the firewall when you telnet?

I used Teraterm or DOS windows for the telnet connections. We have others Firewall CISCO and that's work correctly.

The client is on the same segment.

Is the pix 525 configured to allow telnet connection for the IP Address that you are sourcing your telnet packets from.

Eventhough, are you connecting from the same network that pix is connected to, the pix has to be configured to allow telnet connections.
